Mrs. Thomson’s class celebrated Kindness Day by participating in the “Choose a Staff Member” challenge! 💙
Each student picked a note with a special message and shared it with a staff member, spreading smiles and positivity throughout the school. Such a simple act made a big impact! We're so proud of these students for choosing kindness!

7th grade students in Mrs. Moore’s reading class recently read “The Crossover” by Kwame Alexander an author known for his creative literary methods including writing with rhyming and in verse. Students used quotes, themes, and symbols from the book to portray their learning of this basketball themed story in a one pager project. Students knocked this project out of the park, very creative!

Today, Spring Garden Student Council visited The Hub in Marion for their end-of-the-year field trip! These students have done an outstanding job all year long.
An employee even complimented them on how well-behaved they were and the great manners they showed. We are so proud of each and every one of them for representing our school so well! 🩵🖤

Thank you for taking such good care of our students and staff!!🩵🖤

Mrs. Piercy’s Kindergarten has been reading Sheep in a Jeep this week while practicing how to read and spell words with “ee.”
Today, they brought the story to life by reading Sheep in a Jeep right inside Mrs. Piercy’s jeep! 🚙
Afterward, students each got a sheep with a word on it. If they could read the word correctly, they got to toss their sheep into the jeep and were rewarded with a cheerful “beep! beep!” from the horn.
It was a fun and engaging way to practice reading skills!

Mrs. Maurer’s student teacher, Ms. Makayla, led a fun science experiment with the 2nd grade this week! Since their reading story was about penguins, students made “blubber” to see how penguins stay warm in the cold. It was a great hands-on activity and the students had a blast! 🐧❄️
