Tomorrow, November 17, we will be running two bus routes. Brad and Carrie will be covering Susan's route so there may delays in getting students to school and then home.

Friday, Spring Garden Grade School proudly honored our veterans. We are deeply grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and service to our country. Thank you for all you have done to protect our freedom! ❤️🤍💙

The PTO will be meeting on Tuesday, November 11 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria at the Elementary School. During the meeting they will recap Monster Mash and discuss Christmas time plans.

I have information about the ES phones and Friday's dismissal. The Elementary School's phone number 618-244-8070 is once again working. Our Veteran's program is this Friday, November 7 at 1:00 pm. All of our students participate in the program so all students will be dismissed from the Elementary School this Friday. Lastly, there is no school on Monday, November 10 and Tuesday, November 11.

Last Tuesday, our 7th and 8th graders took a field trip to the Franklin County 1910’s Garage Museum and the Historic Jail Museum in Benton! They had a great time exploring exhibits, learning about our local history, and discovering what life was like in our community over a century ago.

IRIS (Integrated Referral and Intake System) is a free and secure online tool that makes it easy for families to get connected to local programs and services like:

Preschool and early learning options

Health and mental health support

Food and housing help

Parenting and family resources

Families can fill out the IRIS intake form by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer. Once submitted, the referral is shared with the right community partner who reaches out to help, eliminating the need for families to tell their story over and over.

IRIS is HIPAA, FERPA, and SOPPA compliant, so all information stays safe and confidential.

Monster Mash is almost here!! Come have some fun this Saturday, November 1 from 2:00 - 5:00pm at the Elementary School. Game tickets, raffle basket tickets, and laser tag/inflatable wristbands will be available for purchase, as well as BBQ sandwiches and hotdogs. We are also still accepting baked goods and cake donations, and they can be brought on Saturday afternoon.

We are having some difficulty with our phone lines at the Elementary School. Until the issues are resolved, you may reach the Elementary School at 618-472-9392. The Middle School phones are still working just fine, 618-437-5361. We will let you know when our normal number is working once again.

The Girl's State Cross Country Meet in Du Quoin tomorrow morning will start thirty minutes earlier. So the Lady Hawks team will start running at 9:30am. Good luck and run fast tomorrow ladies!! Go Hawks!!
