Tomorrow, August 11, is Supply Drop Off and Meet the Teacher night at both school buildings from 4:30 - 6:00pm. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 13 and it is a 3:00 dismissal day. There will be a Booster Club meeting on Wednesday, August 6, at 5:00pm at the Elementary School in the cafeteria. Meetings will be scheduled for the year and two new members will be voted on.
Softball practice tonight has been cancelled tongiht 8/4 due to poor infield and outfield conditions because of the rain that can through.
Baseball open field for tongiht 8/4 will still be held from 5-7 and they will practice in the outfield only. If you are bringing your child back to the Baseball field please be careful. The trail back there was pretty muddy. You may be better off dropping your child off and letting them walk.
Spring Garden CCSD #178 is taking applications to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education(BOE) for a term that expires in 2027. Those interested should submit a letter of interest and resume for the BOE to review to Tammy Beckham, Superintendent, Spring Garden CCSD #178, 14975 E Bakerville Rd, Mt. Open Field - Mon, August 4th - 5-7pm
Tryouts - Mon, August 11th 6-7:30pm
All open Fields and Tryouts will be held a the elementary field.
Due to Heat Advisory Forecast for this week there will be no Cross Country Open run at the school.
🩵There will be a PTO meeting on Thursday, July 17th at 5:00pm at the Elementary building. The meeting is for any parent interested in helping with the PTO! I hope everyone is having a great summer! Once again this year, we will have in person and online registration. In person registration will be on Monday, July 28 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 29 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Elementary and Middle Schools. We will open up online registration through Teacherease on Monday, July 28. Students who are new to the district, or have a change in residency or residency questions must register in person. Kindergarten and 6th grade students must have school physicals along with updated shots and any student participating in sports must have a physical on file.
There will be Open Field for Softball on Monday June 30th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Elementary School Field.
🖤🩵Cross Country open group run will be tomorrow from 7:15pm-8:00pm at the elementary building. This is open to any student entering grades 4th-8th in the upcoming school year. Student who haven’t participated in any of the previous runs are welcome to join also.🩵🖤

Any child that will be entering 4th-8th grade for next school year is invited out on Monday June 2nd from 5:30pm-6:15pm at the elementary school for the start of Cross Country summer training. Your child should be coming home with this flyer sometime this week. We had the biggest number of students participate last year and we are hoping to grow that number even more this year.
If your child can’t make it on June 2nd, no worries, there will be more dates posted throughout the summer where they can come out and give Cross Country a try!
Field day tomorrow! Don't forget that all students that do not ride a bus will need dropped off at the elementary school.
