Any child that will be entering 4th-8th grade for next school year is invited out on Monday June 2nd from 5:30pm-6:15pm at the elementary school for the start of Cross Country summer training. Your child should be coming home with this flyer sometime this week. We had the biggest number of students participate last year and we are hoping to grow that number even more this year.
If your child can’t make it on June 2nd, no worries, there will be more dates posted throughout the summer where they can come out and give Cross Country a try!
Field day tomorrow! Don't forget that all students that do not ride a bus will need dropped off at the elementary school.
Softball Tryouts will be this Thursday May 22nd from 3:30 - 5:00pm and Friday May 23rd from after school until 3:30pm at the elementary school. There will be a voluntary parent meeting after tryouts on Friday. Tryouts are open to any girls from grades 4th-8th.
On Wednesday, May 21, we will run two bus routes due to the 8th Grade end of the year trip. Brad and Holly will be driving Susan's route. There will be delays in getting the students to school and home.
Students enjoys laser tag and ice cream at the 4th quarter PBIS party!
Spring Garden's 8th Grade Graduation will be this evening. It has been decided to have the ceremony at the Ina Free Will Baptist building in Ina due to safety concerns and the ceremony has been pushed back to 8:00pm so family members and friends traveling to the ceremony won't have to travel through the storms. Join us this evening in celebrating the class of 2025.

Softball Tryouts will be next Thursday May 22nd and Friday May 23rd from 3:30pm-5:00pm at the elementary school. Tryouts are open to any girls from grades 4th-8th.
On Wednesday, May 14, in the afternoon only, we will run two bus routes. Brad and Susan will be driving Holly's route. There will be delays in getting the students home. We have been looking for Substitute Bus Drivers and the position is posted in multiple places. Elijah Robinson placed 6th in the 100m and 8th in the 200m today at the State track meet in Murphysboro. Way to go Elijah, we are all proud of you!
Gentry Graham threw his PR Thursday in discus of 94 feet and placed 1st at the Peewee track meet at Mt. Vernon. Congratulations Gentry!

We will only be running two bus routes this week. On Monday and Tuesday, Susan and Brad will be driving Holly's route. Spring Garden uniforms that are not being used will be sold for $5 at the Awards Program on Thursday 5/8. There will be a variety of sports available! 🖤🩵
Sadly I just realized that the post on April 22nd for Bus Driver Appreciation Day did not load. We are thankful that Susan, Brad, and Holly take such wonderful care of our Spring Garden kiddos! We appreciate you everyday!🚍
