Attention Girls entering 4th-8th grade. There will be a Parent Meeting on Monday, June 8, at 5:00pm at the elementary building followed by a short practice. If it is raining, the girls will have a practice in the gym. If you can’t make it don’t worry, there will be more Open Fields throughout the summer.

Kayleigh Thomas and Faye Evrard (not pictured) won the Outstanding Patriotism Essay Award in the ROE 13 Happy 250th Birthday USA Contest and was presented with a plaque from Assistant Regional Superintendent, John Consolino. Congratulations, Kayleigh and Faye!!

Today, the middle school celebrated 4th quarter PBIS with a trip to the movies! Students went to see “Sheep Detectives” and had a great time together. Great job to everyone for all your hard work and positive behavior this quarter! 🎬🍿👏
This month, Mrs. Thomson’s class read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and did all the things to keep the learning and exploration going — even with only a few days left of school!
Students invented their own candy bars, made lickable wallpaper, and for good behavior, they even got to select a candy bar to see if they were Golden Ticket winners! So far, only 2 of the 3 Golden Tickets have been found! 🍫🎟️✨
Last week, 2nd-4th grade students took a field trip to the zoo! It was a beautiful day filled with learning, laughter, and lots of fun. Everyone had a great time exploring and seeing all the amazing animals! 🦁☀️🐒
Ms. Gibson’s 6th grade class visited Rend Lake for their Earth Day Celebration! Students had a fun day learning outside and exploring nature through hands-on activities. What a great way to celebrate Earth Day and enjoy the outdoors! 🌎☀️
To celebrate our AWESOME year in 1st Grade, we enjoyed theme day activities each day of last week! On Tuesday, we enjoyed Game/Team Day by playing various board games and challenges.
Our favorite was CAMP Day 🏕 We earned badges (rewards) by participating in several fun reading activities. We independently read in our desk "tents," with mini flashlights, listened to Mrs. Harper read and ate some yummy S'mores Snack treats, and everyone earned a little prize for meeting our reading goal for the day!! First Grade had a blast 'Camping Out,' with good books!
On Wednesday, May 13, we will only have two buses. Brad and Susan will be picking up and dropping off students on Carrie's route so there may be delays getting students to school and home.

Tonight is our 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony at 7:00pm at the Middle School. The doors will open at 6:30pm.
Kindergarten had so many special visitors stop by during their Virtual Disney trip this week! A huge thank you to all of the students and adults who dressed up, brought the magic to life, and took time to sign autographs for our little travelers. You helped make this experience unforgettable for our kindergarteners! ✨

Cheerleading Open Gyms and Tryouts will be on the following dates at the Elementary Gym for all incoming 5th-8th grade students for the 26-27 school year.
Monday, May 18th: Open Gym (5:00-6:30)
Tuesday, May 19th: Open Gym (5:00-6:30)
Wednesday, May 20th: Open Gym (4:00-5:00)
Friday, May 22nd: Tryouts (5:00-?)
You must make it to atleast one open gym to learn the required materials for try-outs. Parents are welcome to watch at any of the open gyms or record material to practice at home. We will be going over try-out procedures, information about our program and expectations, as well as assign try out groups on Tuesday, May 19. Try outs on Friday will be closed.
Join us this coming Tuesday Night, May 5th, at 6:00pm at the Middle School for our Academic and Athletic awards night!!!!
