Just a quick reminder about our Pet Drive for the Jefferson County Animal Shelter. Students who wish to donate items may do so by Thursday, Feb 12. Some supplies the shelter needs are disinfecting bleach, mopping liquids, dryer sheets, paper towels, trash bags, treats, toys, collars, blankets, leashes, puppy pads. Thank you so much!
Spring Garden will have school tomorrow. There will be a few changes to the bus routes due to turn around issues. Susan's bus will not go down Goshen and will have to stop on 142 at Donasue Ln. If you live past that on 142, you can meet Susan at Donasue at 7:20am in the morning and at 3:15pm in the afternoon. Carrie's bus will not go down Forbes Ln and Brad's bus will not go down Tiffany Rd. These routes will be in effect until further notice.
Tomorrow's lunch will be cheeseburger, carrots and fruit. There have been a few menu changes for this week but it is updated on the school app. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!!

We are excited to announce that our school will be hosting a Pet Drive to support our local Jefferson County Animal Control shelter. We are collecting donations of pet supplies to support the shelter, which provides essential care and comfort for abandoned and rescued animals. This month in our House Groups we are discussing Empathy and what it means. Some ways to show empathy are offering comfort, support, and help. The students will have a friendly competition between their House Groups to see which group can collect the most items. The winning House Group will receive a prize. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and families to come together and make a positive impact in our community.

Location: Send pet items with your child to school or drop off food to the office at either school.

We encourage every family to participate, as every donation makes a difference.

Today, Ms. Stone organized a fun Dino Hunt activity, and Mrs. Piercy’s kindergarten class was excited to join some of her students. The activity gave students a playful, hands-on way to practice their red words and spelling words together!

Our January House Group theme this month is perseverance!
On Friday, groups focused on teamwork while building spaghetti and marshmallow towers. Everyone's looked great and had fun working together to see who could build the tallest structure! 🍝🏗️
The PTO will be meeting on January 21 at 4:30pm in the Elementary School cafeteria.
Tomorrow, January 16, is an 11:15 dismissal day and it is also a House Group day so all students will be dismissed from the Elementary School beginning at 11:00am for car riders and shortly thereafter for bus riders. There is no school on Monday, January 19.
On Monday, January 12, we will be running two bus routes. Susan and Carrie will be covering Brad's route so there may be delays getting students to school and then home.
Tomorrow, January 7, we will be running two bus routes. Brad and Susan will be covering Carrie's route so there may delays in getting students to school and then home. Brad will run his regular route and then run Carrie's route in the morning.
