The Girl's State Cross Country Meet in Du Quoin tomorrow morning will start thirty minutes earlier. So the Lady Hawks team will start running at 9:30am. Good luck and run fast tomorrow ladies!! Go Hawks!!
New Monster Mash Date

Due to the forecasted weather for this Saturday, the PTO has decided to postpone Monster Mash to Saturday, November 1st, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
Kindergarten has been having some fun with their literacy and math centers.
We love seeing their excitement as they grow their skills through hands-on activities, teamwork, and a whole lot of creativity. Way to go, little learners! 🌟❤️

Yesterday, our middle school students enjoyed a sweet reward for their positive behavior—ice cream and a movie to celebrate the end of 1st quarter PBIS! We’re proud of their hard work and commitment to showing respect, responsibility, and kindness every day.🩵🖤










Congratulations to our Girls Cross Country team! They came in 3rd place at our regional and have qualified for State!
Lynnex Smith came in 5th place and was a medalist!

Information about Picture Day, Rooms, and Friday's Dismissal: Picture Day at the Elementary School is on Tuesday, October 7. Picture Day at the Middle School is on Wednesday, October 8 and will include Baseball, Softball, and Cross Country pictures. So you can continue to receive ROOM messages from your child's teacher(s), please make sure you have the latest update of our school's app. Lastly, next Friday is an 11:15 Dismissal Day and we also have House Groups so all the students will be dismissed from the Elementary School. 4th Grade Exploding Apples
For Johnny Appleseed Day, 4th grade spent some time sampling apples.. and then making them explode! Students turned apples into mini “volcanoes” by combining baking soda and vinegar. The fizzy explosions made history and science come alive!
